Obituary of Beverley Ann Lee
Beverley passed away peacefully on December 5th, 2025, at the age of 84. In 1962 she married the love of her life Stewart in Midhurst, Ontario, close to the family farm she grew up on. Bev & Stew purchased their forever home in Etobocoke and raised their 3 children there. Family was most important to Bev, she lost her mother at a young age, then she was adapted with her sister into the Sutton home. She dearly loved her sister and brothers, and she spent hours and years researching her genealogy to reconnect and find her lost siblings. Her heart had room for everyone, there wasn't a mountain too high that she wouldn't have climbed to find her family. Children were a delight to Bev, she was not only a grandma to her own but she also was like a grandma to many. Bev was in her glory during the holiday seasons, she especially loved decorating the house at Halloween and Christmas. She truly became a little girl again. She loved shopping with her friends Vonda and Maria and sister in law Yvonne, and was so excited to find treasures at all her favourite thrift stores. Bev was a picture of perfection, she always dressed beautifully with her hair styled flawlesssly. Her home also was a showcase of her devotion to excellence, she took pride and joy in keeping it immaculate, welcoming and full of love. Bev learned to play piano at a young age on her upright heintzman piano. She filled the house with the music of Frank Mills, Anne Murray and all her favourite songs. Family camping trips with Stew and the kids were an annual event, each year a different destination, a station wagon pulling a tent trailer packed to the brim, on occasion joined by Bev's brother Bert, Ethel and girls, where precious memories were made and eagerly recorded on 8mm films. Bev had a love for the antics and silliness of her favourite actress Lucille Ball, and an extraordinary passion for her boys in blue, the Toronto Maple Leafs. If you called during the game you weren't getting her to pick up the phone. She was undoubtably and unwaveringly one of their top loyal true fans.
Beverley is survived by her loving husband Stewart, her sons Tim (Marie) and Terry, and her daughter Wendy. She leaves behind her cherished grandchildren Ken (Krista), Amanda (Chad), Tom (Kim) and Daniel, and her great grandchildren Wesley, Claire, Dawson and Winston. Dear sister of Joan and Allan, sister in law of Judy and Yvonne. Predeceased by her brothers Bert, Greg and John, brother in law Ted. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.
As per Bev's wishes a cremation has taken place. A celebration of life with family and close friends will be at a later date.
