Obituary of Norma Begg Wenger

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Norma Wenger (nee Bargh), a loving mother,
grandmother and great-grandmother. Norma died on February 25, 2026 at the Toronto Western Hospital
as a result of a stroke. Her family was by her side.

Norma is survived by her husband Fredy, her daughters Karen (Kevin) and Claire-Lise, her beloved
grandchildren Madison (Braden), Duncan and David and her beautiful great-granddaughter Freya.
Norma was a dedicated teacher, an extraordinary knitter, an avid reader, and a supporter of the arts in
Toronto. She was a loyal friend and absolutely devoted to her family.

As per Norma’s wishes she has been cremated. A Celebration of Life for Norma will be held on March
28, 2026 from 1 to 6 pm at the Royal Canadian Legion at 3591 Dundas St W. Toronto.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Norma’s memory to the Heart and Stroke
