I am deeply saddened by the passing of Tom Briand. Working with him was truly a privilege. He was much more than a boss, he was a mentor, a leader, and someone who genuinely cared about the people around him. My thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and everyone whose lives he touched. He will be greatly missed. Rest in peace Tom.

My condolences to the Briand family. Tom was my mentor, 'best boss' and friend. My life is richer and my career more rewarding directly as a result of Tom and his influence. I am happy that I shared my gratitude with him last year at dinner. I will miss him. He was a special human being.

I had the privilege of working with Tom for over 30 years at Marsulex and then Chemtrade. What I will always remember most were his travels. Whether it was a trip down east to see his family or trips to Cuba, Mexico, and Florida he had a way of turning every trip into a story worth telling, and he shared those stories with such enthusiasm that you felt like you had been there with him. His spirit & kindness made a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered in the many stories and memories he leaves behind.

Tom was an incredible colleague and dear friend. He was kind, respected and loved by everyone at Marsulex / Chemtrade. I will always remember the fun times listening to Tom’s travel adventures.
