Obituary of Margaret Patricia Stockfish

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Margaret Patricia (Pat) Stockfish on June 10, 2026, at the age of 85.

Pat was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be deeply missed by her children, John Stockfish (Patricia) and Jennifer Stockfish, and her grandchildren, Nathan and Mia Stockfish, who brought her great joy. She will also be lovingly remembered by her grand pup, Tulip.

Pat was predeceased by her siblings Norman (Betty), Peter (Pat), Mary (Jimmy), Theresa (Roy), Dorothy (Bob), and John-Angus (Diane). She is survived by her siblings Kathy (Ken) and Malcolm (Nancy).

She will be remembered for her kindness, strength, and the love she shared with her family throughout her life.

Though Toronto was her home, Pat’s heart always remained in Cape Breton.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sunnybrook Foundation or Baycrest Palliative Care in Pat’s memory.

A Celebration of Pat’s life will be held at a later date with details provided.
