This is how I remember Jitka: A close friend of mine in the ‘70s, Jitka worked in the fashion industry as a designer in Toronto. Not only was she very stylish, she was also very generous. As a frequent beneficiary of that largess, I was fortunate to add many of her custom garments to my wardrobe. Like her clothes, Jitka was beautiful inside and out, compassionately supporting me in my hour of need. As a cherished part of the fabric of my life, I will remember Jitka. Her absence diminishes this world. My deepest sympathy to her family. Jarka Jankovic
