I am so saddened to hear of your profound loss Diane. Brian was a genuine gentleman who had a special way of making a person feel special. Whenever I visited the store I always stayed longer than expected but left with some advice or idea to make my life or space more beautiful. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this very difficult time. Hugh & Michelle

Thank you Brian for being my friend, for the many evenings spent together with great food and interesting and meaningful conversations. I missed them!
Thank you for your patience, for listening, for the attention and respect that you had for other people’s ideas. I didn't know then how precious these qualities are. We asked for your opinion and advice because we would get something valuable and honest in return.
Thank you for your humour and for sharing your stories. I still laugh when I think of them. I still smile when I think of your smile.

Ok...at first you look at this picture
is he MAD???
Never..he's telling one of his stories
gag dang it..its so intense!
In the middle of the story he'd always stop and then asks Diane..what was the name of that place again..or what was that dish we had..where was it that we stayed at ...
who was that person we met at the beach..

I was very fortunate to have married into the Dragonette/Siu family enity. With Brian's great sense of humour and love of jokes, this group always had a great time. When you are with him he always had a question to ask and a curiosity to know what it is or why you like or disliked something or what you think of this or that.
He loved to talk or complain and at the same time he loved to listen. These days many people text to one another.Brian is one of my few telephone buddies. Not only will I miss you at our gatherings, I will miss your calls.I miss your voice already.
There are so many stories with Brian:When we gather together who will we now grill, tease and razz throughout the night ...and ask who invited you when you arrive..pause;and look at Diane ahhhhhh yes the rent a friend program! Your legacy on the stories we have remains with us! Brian:Rent a FRIEND- you know you got in because you are family.
We lost our brother and will be missed so much and with time we will heal as his stories live in our hearts forever.

We spent many amazing memories with the Captain of the Ship. Admired brother and treasured friend. Brian had so many talents, always supported, Loved and encouraged by his precious wife Diane.
He laughed and was always the prankster with a great sense of humor while we were growing up.
God bless you Gentle Captain on your nautical journey.

We know Brian and Diane since they moved in. It didn't take long for us to become great friends. Brian was full of energy and had a sense of humor out of this world. He had a contagious smile that made you smile right back. Is was such a pleasure to babysit Rupert while Brian and Diane would go go on their wonderful adventures. We both remember helping ourselves to Brian's edibles (chocolate crepes) and he would leave an extra box when they would go on another vacation. That still wasn't enough...they were that good! And so he rang at our door and said you guys forgot a box. He had a heart of gold and was always there to make you laugh when you were going through difficulties. Brian your endless memories will forever be close to our hearts. We love you and miss you dearly
Forever your dear friends Sean and Aisha

Brian. Ever the entrepreneur. Early days on Richie Street with the knock down, knock off Rietveld.
Scrapped together enough money to score one of his prototypes. Understood the care and precision he put into his work. Cherish the chair to this day regardless of the fact that its impossible to sit in comfortably.
Will miss him.

Brian and Diane have been my neighbours for the last 13 years since I moved onto the street. Brian and I would often share stories, complain about the city or politics, or just wave hello when we would meet while taking out the garbage, shovelling snow, etc. The comfort I have had knowing Brian and Diane are next door helped me through some tough times even if they didn’t know it. I’ll really miss Brian and will keep my eye on Diane. I feel very thankful that I had the chance to meet and appreciate such a wonderful man. My condolences to the family.
