Obituary of Siegfried Iro

Iro, Siegfried (“Sigi”) passed away peacefully on Friday February 7, 2020 at St. Joseph’s Health Centre in Toronto. Sigi was the beloved husband of Olga, children Andrea (Rob), Monica, John, Robert (Dale), and Annie (pre-deceased). Opa to 14 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, he was affectionately known as “Opa” to so many others. Sigi was a skilled auto-body repairman by profession, but was known to be able to fix everything. His curiosity and sense of adventure made him a child-at-heart, and his memory will forever live on in the lives of those he touched. A memorial reception will be held on Sunday February 16,2020 from 1-3pm at the G. H. Hogle Funeral Home, 63 Mimico Ave, Toronto M8V 1R2.
