Obituary of Robert Kitson

KITSON, Robert Peter - 

Passed away peacefully at Humber River Hospital on Saturday, January 30, 2021, at the age of 80 years.

Robert (Bob) will be lovingly remembered by his wife Penny, children Steven (Wendy) of Etobicoke, and Jody Kitson-Roy (Emery Roy) of Cobden. He will be dearly missed by his five grandchildren Casson, Christopher, Mitchell Roy, Travis Roy, Jasmine Roy, and many friends.  Robert was predeceased by his parents, Doris and Peter.

Bob lived a full and rich life traveling the world and sailing out of Mimico Cruising Club where he served on the board and as Commodore. His career with Simpsons Sears and Sears Canada spanned over 35 years and he retired as Executive Vice President of International Buying in 2000. Winters on board his beloved sailboat in the BVI and summers exploring Italy were his joy after retiring.  A caring, kind, fun-loving man, he made everyone he met smile.
