Obituary of Sean Joseph Newell

Passed away Tuesday, February 16th, in Toronto, ON. Sean was the cherished son of William (Bill) and Diane Newell, and will be sadly and deeply missed. An amazing Big Brother and protector to his "little sister" Shannon and sister-in-law Jennifer. Treasured and beloved nephew of Aunt Laura "Yeal" Garnet.

Sean was a stellar athlete back in his day. Whether it was hockey, tennis or golf, he would always strive to be his best.  He was trained as a chef and would make beautiful meals for family and friends.  Sean had a kind and compassionate spirit with a heart of gold. He spent many a Christmas cooking and serving food to the homeless, and was a support to his community. Sean was selfless and was always concerned about the well being  of others. Life can be a battlefield for any living being, and Sean worked hard and fought like a warrior. The time has come where he can rest in comfort; liberated from the human condition of suffering.

A private cremation will take place, and no service will be held, as per Sean's wishes.
