Obituary of Mary Piwtorak

It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Mary Piwtorak on Friday March 25, 2022 at The McCall Centre for Continuing Care in Etobicoke.

Mary was predeceased by the loves of her life, William (Bill) Salowski (1976) and Michael Piwtorak (1989).  She was also predeceased by her brother Jack (1989) and her daughter Karen (2021). 

Born in Toronto, and raised in both Toronto and Meaford, Ontario, as an adult,  Mary lived in Toronto, Baldwin, Winnipeg, St. Petersburg (Winter home) and Mississauga.

Mary was the proud mother of Michael and Karen (2021) and mother in law to Gayle.  She was an amazing “Nana” to Sarah, Meaghan and Teagan. 

Although Mary enjoyed her many travels across Canada, Europe and the USA, her #1 priority was always her family to whom she was devoted.

Mary was very friendly, social and supportive of her friends and family over the years.  She was also very active in the Church.

Mary will be missed by her many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends across Canada, the USA and England.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at 1pm, at St Hilary’s Church, 2055 Hurontario Street, at the North Service Road, in Mississauga. Y
