Obituary of John Albert Fennis

John A. Fennis, 89, of Etobicoke, Ontario died at 5:30 PM on Sunday March 27^th, 2022, at Trillium Health Partners, Mississauga ON.  He was born  July 8, 1932 in Montreal, Quebec , Canada to the late Albert Fennis and Mary (nee: Geiger) Fennis.

A mechanical engineer, he enjoyed a career with both The Timkin and Koyo companies. Upon retiring in 1987, in his leisure he enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, traveling, gardening, hockey, football, and his beloved fishing. John never knew a stranger and he loved to talk with everyone.

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his sister, Marianne (nee:Fennis) Rampado, and brother in laws George Rampado and Hugh Mulligan.

John is survived by four children: Michelle (Pete) D’Angelo, Wayne (Chris) Fennis, Brenda (George) Miller, and Bruce (Susan) Fennis. Many grand and great grandchildren all of the United States, and sister Ruth (nee: Fennis) Mulligan of Niagara Falls, ON.

Roman Catholic by faith, the family will celebrate John privately at his final resting place in Niagara Falls, ON, on a later date.
