Obituary of Eileen Kirouac

We sadly announce the passing of our Dear Mother, Eileen Kirouac, at the age of 93. Daughter of Cecile Cooke, survived by adoring sister Wynne Doorey, mother to Michael, Tracey, Kim with beloved husband Edward Kirouac and their grandchildren Shawn, Jeremy, Lauren, Mikey, Mathew, Hailey, Michael Ryan, Holly, Nicole and Alivia. Loving Auntie to Denyse, Stephen, Lisa, David Doorey & Ken Kirouac.

Mom loved her family, her church friends, travel, Judge Judy and lived an energetic life to the fullest. Mom lived in Manchester England, Montreal, Oshawa and finally settled in Oakville. She commuted to Toronto daily to work at Sunlife and volunteered at the Colborne Senior Center in retirement. She loved her travel as a snowbird. Her interests included being a diarist, avid reader, storytelling and gardening.

Her wish is for her ashes to be laid to rest, with her late husband Edward, this spring in the beautiful Garden at St Jude’s Church, Oakville, Ontario.
