Obituary of Kathleen Luciano

June 12, 1946 to February 27, 2024

#1 Grandmother

Kathleen “Kathy” Letitia Luciano died peacefully on an unseasonably beautiful morning filled with birdsong. The sunshine was fitting, so reflective of Kathy’s warm and generous spirit. Kathy always had time for a kind conversation with a stranger and opened not just her heart but also her home to countless loved ones. 

Kathy’s grandchildren were her greatest joy. And she was theirs. She wasn’t afraid of death—only of leaving her “little chickens” behind. Her boundless love lives forever in the hearts of her grandchildren, Miranda (Matt) and Adam (Emma), who mourn her passing deeply. She is sorely missed by her brother, Ron (Monika), her many nieces and nephews including Michelle, Mayrienne, Michael, and Deborah, her extended family, and countless treasured friends from Canada, Bahamas, Ireland, and beyond. She is pre-deceased by her mother, Kay, her father, George Gordon, her husband, Joe, and her niece, Lisa, who will surely delight in hearing her mischievous laugh again. 

If a life’s worth is measured by how many hearts a person touches, Kathy lived the richest life of us all.
