Obituary of Helen Ardith Grant

Helen Ardith Grant (nee Taylor)

Ardith Grant passed away peacefully on April 28, 2024 with her daughters by her side at
the age of 91.

Ardith was proud to have trained as a nurse at Toronto Western Hospital. She enjoyed
sports immensely, captaining her high school basketball team as well as playing golf
well into her seventies.  Ardith was independent and resilient and thoroughly enjoyed
travelling throughout the world later in her life. She was an avid bridge player who still
completed the daily crossword and Sudoku puzzles. Deeply spiritual, Ardith always had
a positive outlook on life and was a wonderful mother. Her love and constant support
will be deeply missed by her family.

Ardith leaves behind her daughters, Kathy Grant-Munoz (Oscar) and Stacey Grant-
Thompson (John) and her grandchildren Jenn Kittmer (Luke),Kyle Munoz,Nicole
Thompson and Kristen Thompson.

At her request, there will be no public service but friends are invited to share
condolences on-line at The CremationCare Centre. Donations in Ardith’s memory can be made to
St. James United Church in Etobicoke.
