Obituary of Michael Hugh Swain

Mike passed away at 8:30 p.m.on July 30, 2024 in the ICU at Brampton Civic Hospital after a brief illness.

He will be remembered first and foremost as a loving husband to his wife Kim of 36 years.

He loved animals, humour, and the band Rush. Those who knew him well, already knew this. He never liked people fussing over him at all, which is why there will be no service.

He is predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Barb Swain. He is survived by his wife Kim, his brother Tom, and his sister-in-law Peg.

Mike was a hard-working man and made many friends during his lifetime in the transportation and warehousing industries. He had great respect for his co-workers, neighbours, and acquaintances.
