My dear Liz, it is hard to believe you have left us. You have a beautiful soul and now you are a beautiful angel.
Liz was a welcoming, friendly force when I was new to Calgary - we met while working in real estate together. One of my special memories about Liz...I hit a rough patch back in 2017 and Liz showed up at my front door with enough food to fill our freezer to get me and my family through some tough days and months. I think it took several trips from the car to bring it all in. She was a fantastic chef and made vegan meals for me (and she certainly didn't forget about the carnivores in my household). This heartfelt act of kindness during a challenging time really touched my heart. More recently, Liz called me in July and we had a lovely, long overdue catch up and shared photos after the call. I am so grateful she gave me the gift of that call. Thank you for your kindness, Liz. You are missed and I am grateful that you were in my life.

Dear Lizzie, such a loss after such a battle. I miss our chats about your dream cottage on the Cornish coast and the local fisherman you would meet, your English dry humour and sarcasm, our bluntness, your love for Tig, our random texts to check in with each other, and your friendship. Spread your wings and fly high my friend.

This was Liz's idea - I didn't even know you could rent canoes at the Glenmore Reservoir! She was happy on this day ❤️

I’m deeply saddened by the news of Liz’s passing. I had the pleasure of knowing her through commercial real estate in Calgary, and we reconnected when she was planning her move to Toronto, as I moved here several years ago.
We had lunch during her move planning, and I was struck by her resilience and optimism despite the challenges she faced.
We had planned to meet in July at the hospital where she was receiving treatment which also happens to be where I work, but, unfortunately, it was rescheduled and we never had the chance to see each other again. I am sad I was not able to be there for her during this time.
Liz was a genuine and kind-hearted person, and she will be greatly missed. My thoughts are with her loved ones, and I hope they find comfort in the memories and her warmth and spirit. ❤️

Liz was one of my first girlfriends in Calgary. I went back through our chat archives, all the way to 2016 and found random photos of everything under the sun, except for one of the two of us together - I will forever regret that. Liz was a good friend who had all the time in the world for the people she loved. She was genuine, sweet and generous. I will miss her humor, her thoughfulness and her laugh. She was a champion and a tough, tough lady. I honestly don't know how she confronted the challenges that she did over these past few years, but she could always see the light at the end of the tunnel. I only have fond memories of Liz and that's something so special. I miss you, my friend.

Liz and I worked together for many years in Calgary. She was a true gem, and always willing to help anyone in any way. She and I become very close acquaintances, and I will always treasure the relationship we developed.

I knew Liz for about 3 years and she was always a source of comfort and good advice. Liz was always so positive that she never really explained what state she was in. I’m a better person for having known her and I will miss her dearly.
