Obituary of Wade Robert Marr

We, the family of Wade Robert Marr, are sorry to announce his passing on Tuesday, October 8th, 2024, in Toronto, ON while surrounded by his loved ones.

Born September 18th, 1968 at St. Joseph's Health Centre in Toronto, Wade was the son of Robert Marr and the late Leslie Marr Dingwall.
Wade is lovingly remembered by his father, Robert Marr, (Deidre), his daughters, Kaitlin and Hanna Marr, his grandson, Matteo Soldi-MacDougall, and the mother of his children, Laura Browning Marr. His memory is also cherished by his three siblings Jacqueline Sechi (Frank), Kevin Marr (Jenna) and Nadine Marr (Shawn) - as well as several nieces and nephews.
Wade is predeceased by his mother, Leslie Marr Dingwall, his nephew, David Sechi, his maternal grandparents, Joseph and Lauretta Budd, and his paternal grandparents, Elsie and Robert Marr.

In his 56 years, Wade touched the lives of all those around him with his kind and giving nature. Always eager to help others, he was the type of man that would give you the shirt off of his back - once going so far as to give his car (for free) to a friend whom he felt needed it more. He had deep respect for the community around him, and loved his family (especially his daughters) and friends fiercely. You only had to meet him for a short while to see what a big heart he had, and how important it was that everyone around him felt cared for.

Until the very end, Wade maintained his sense of humour. Even in his last few days, the cheeky glint in his eye was unmistakable, and the laughter he shared with his family could be heard from all the way down the hall, even with his room's door closed. Gone far too soon, Wade was a good man who continued to show love, generosity, and strength up to his final moments.

The family would like to sincerely thank the nurses and staff on floor 5M and 6M of St Joseph's Health Centre for their overwhelming kindness and support shown to Wade during his stay with them.
