Obituary of Wan Jin Kim

Born April 29, 1932 in South Korea, Wan Jin Kim passed away peacefully in her home on January 24, 2019 at age 86.

She touched the lives of family and friends with her compassion, kindness and faith. She thanked God daily for her blessings and followed his path until her last days. She will forever be remembered as God's beloved angel, devoted wife and mother who held her family together with her strength and unconditional love.

Known to many as Professor Kim, Wan Jin graciously shared her life with her beloved husband, Jin Sik Kim, and her three daughters, Yu Kyung (Brian), He Jung (Aaron) and Su Yeun (Rob) creating great memories in Seoul, Montreal and Toronto. Her four grandchildren, Megan, Sidney, Clive and Nate, gave her endless joy and the strength she needed to battle leukemia. Her nephews and niece, Hyo-Chul, Hyo-Min and Jung-Ah, can find comfort in that our mothers are now together sharing their sisterly moments of great laughter and tears.

She was the most beautiful presence in all our lives. We miss her deeply, with one heart forever bound together by her love. "Please pray. God will answer all your prayers."
