Obituary of Thomas Czudec

Tom was a loving and wonderful man to his family and friends.  He would be so thankful for the support and care that now surrounds Anka.

Tom will be missed for his wit, his loyalty, his humility, his love of nature - gardening and mushroom hunting - his curiosity, and his gentle manner. Steady and reliable, he was a man of strong convictions.

Anka and Tom were blessed to share almost 40 years together. After Tom’s initial career in accounting they shared a photography business. They always played together: they danced, explored the waters by diving below and windsurfing above, cottaged with their Cawaja “family”, and shared the experience of yoga and mediation retreats.  Anka has lost her best friend; and she shares this grief with the many people who enjoyed Tom’s love for life.

In the gallery you will find a picture of Tom and Anka, which he carried in his wallet for 32 years.  It has ragged edges worn by time and a shared life.

Tom will stay in our hearts.
