Marie was a real gem of a friend. For 25 years we regularly got together for coffee or dinner. Marie could talk about books, movies, art, culture, politics, restaurants- any topic. She was so proud of her daughters, grandkids, and sisters. In her final years she lived in my neighborhood and would frequently invite me for tea. She'd call and say- I know it's minus 10 but I have great desserts. She never talked about her health. We'd laugh and tell stories for hours. Fond memories my friend. Tim

Marie and I taught together. We were diagnosed with cancer the same year. and we met many a Thursday our chemo day at Princess Margaret. July 2018 was the last time I saw her. I met Marie at our Bookclub, went to her cottage and had several outings with her. I will always remember her as an engaging woman filled with a passion for living and enjoying all life had to offer her. She will be greatly missed. My sincere condolences to her family. Lorna Quigley

I am so sorry for your loss. I have tried for a long time to reconnect with Marie but couldn’t find her. This is so heartbreaking. I will always remember her as a kind, gentle soul and this is not how I wanted to find her. Please give my heartfelt condolences to your entire family. Halina Wlodarczyk
