Mom, saying goodbye is very hard, but you will always be in my heart and in the faces of my children, Matthew and Kathleen. I want to say thank you for so many things. For now, I just want to say thank you for teaching me about all the things that I love; nature, art, gardening, and how to raise a family. I am especially grateful that you taught me your “I can do it” attitude. Even so, I always knew that no matter what life threw at me, you were always there for me. I love you now and forever, Chris.

I will always be grateful to Elizabeth and Pieter for allowing me to marry their wonderful daughter Christine, who I love with all my heart. Oma, I will never forget the times we spent together, and the help you and Opa provided while Chris and I were raising our children, and I was travelling because of work. Thank you for bringing fun and laughter to our lives. I miss you and Opa very much. Julian.
