I just found out that you've gone to the ancestors, Carlene. Many months later. I'm stunned and shocked and so, so sad. Thank you for your guidance, leadership, and mentorship during my tenure at CIBC. But most of all, thank you for your friendship. You have no idea how you have impacted the lives of myself and my family. You are in some of our fondest memories and joyful stories. I know we lost contact over the past few years a my life took a different trajectory, but I never lost an ounce of love for you in my heart. Heaven is richer, we are definitely poorer, left here to be without you. Deepest condolences to Vibert and Gillian. May God give you comfort in the coming year. Rest in Power, my dear, dear Carlene. Gone too soon! Carlene was kind, friendly, witty, loved music and dancing. She also laughed a lot and enjoyed life. She and her lovely Gillian frequented Ottawa in the eighties to visit with relatives (Toby & Norma Lawrence) who lived here at that time. Your friends in Ottawa send warm condolences to you entire family and pray for your kind soul to rest in perpetual peace, Amen!

Auntie Carlene, I am so happy we were able to meet in Korea and keep in touch over the years. I still have the beautiful jewelry set you gifted me and I think of you every time I wear it. Thank you for always keeping my family in your thoughts and sending us messages for celebrations or just to make us smile. We will miss you❤️

Vibert and Gillian, I so sorry. Seeing the Obituary made me sad. Actually I am not sure how to feel or what to feel. Carlene and I had an off again on again relationship. The last we saw each other she said to me " Hazel girl I don't know when I will see you again. " Never expected that she go so soon. Big sister you are with mum,dad. Deryck, Ivan aka Tubby, and Charles. I am wondering what that reunion is like. I am so lost.. Carlene R.I.P and rise in glory.
